napowrimo- 30-april 2020- from a point of view of someone who hates me

Shall we begin for finally I get an opportunity
To blurt out on a spree
How do those eyes behind those spectacles
Have that spark that always tries to resonate itself with life
Bungee jumping at every opportunity
Now sits pale and silent averse to any light
Thank goodness it has slumbered down
Otherwise it seemed really unbearable
To see your enthusiastic self buzzing around everywhere
Like a ray of hope to people who felt low
And even us who couldn’t but had to acknowledge you
Weren’t you a nerdy crazy bundle then
who didn’t shy from playing pranks on random people
and yet sneaking away like a puppy
How well you mimicked almost everyone , including seniors and bosses
Who somehow just enjoyed your damn company and laughed away
Really surprised that you could forge a relation
Even with strangers and make them feel at ease
Those affirmative statements you made among friends,
greeting people like me who spited off your back
For which you were supremely contented as a good deed
Did it bring anything back to you, of course not
Because you didn’t expect anything in return, be it career or relations
But you left to carry baggages of our bullying and taunts
The cost of sane living crushing some of your dreams
I wished strangely, I could dupe you better
Well, well even if you shun away,
You are my laughing stock now
For your absurd decisions that you hardly learn from your mistakes
Crude enough I say, your weak heart has been duped
To believe everything is good
And probably, that’s why you fracture your soul
With more bandages to count than before

NAPOWRIMO- 29- APRIL 2020- absence

I miss you the most
That I leaf through my writings
To see a glimpse of your radiant face
I miss those smiles of satisfaction
When you felt I inked a worthy poem or prose
Sometimes you would fiddle with my opinions
For days on end and dispose off few stale scraps
I loved how you lurk like a curtain to see
What metaphors I could come up with
To describe things and specially you,
mostly showing your disagreements with a punch
I yearn for those arguments, debates and how you would flare your hands at me
If you wanted to make stance more effective
You worked your way right into my schedule
That often I would forget I was drowsy minutes before
Just as I am now
Now I look at my lonely cup of tea holding itself to a strong reputation of charisma
You bought into my life so seamlessly
Come back dear muse, I really do miss you

napowrimo- 28- april 2020- Tamizh poetry called AndAdi (Hindi – Anth+Adi)

Your voice lingers into my ears
Ears that were witness to your cries
Cries of happiness and joy
Joy when you first heard my voice
Lingering into your ears
Ears that were witness to my cries
Cries of happiness and joy
Joy when you first heard your voice

napowrimo- 27- april 2020- travel

I often travel to different places
Taking halts when I feel I need to relax
I have explored most of the corners of the city
Right from coffee shops, street markets, stations, beaches, religious places and shrines
To the busy offices parks, schools and colleges restaurants, parks, monuments and theatres
I do lead a busy life where I could almost blog my daily experiences
About meeting people from different walks of life
Hustling around like me
All for their goals of survival
Cannot afford to click a selfie each time
You know I am a professional and maintain work ethics
Though I don’t have a laptop at the moment
I can still list out the average expenses and income and come out with a brilliant deal for next door grocery shop
But they prefer advices qualified consultants and services
I have freelanced as a car-washer in the past just to get some experience (read- get food)
Travel does include wheels right unlike my sored feet
Not that I hate it
Travel does come with its own plans
Like my hands on advice was too modern for corolla altis owner
Well, he was really tired(tyred) I guess
Right now, I just wait for the metro train to arrive
Obviously I don’t board it
Not my type you see
But yeah the passengers are my clients
Some of them even share pleasantries with me
But like I said Travelling comes with its own perks and losses
Specially for a solo traveller like me
I have to manage everything on my own

napowrimo- 26- april 2020- prompt- ekphrastic poem

With opening Keat’s lines :
"Places you can find love-
It sits around lurking in places".

Places you can find love
It sits around lurking in places
Like me seeking beyond the hues of the sky
At this end
Where I felt everything around me
Is filled with colour
The charismatic sky has worn a blue ombre jacket
Giving company to the car having deeper blues of her own
Even clear blue waters complement them and smile as they swim across below
But I have worn a dull grey look
Seeking for my soulmate who probably lurking in some place
This soulmate of self-love that I seek
Probably she too prefers a coloured personality
I call out to the universe and wish I could also be happy coloured lover
I promise to love her dearly
My friend on the other end waves out
Laughing as I hear his echo
Tells me, you are surrounded by love already
Why search around, see the colourless sky has embraced newness of the blue
The waters below share their joy to every stream and greens along her way
The car to has chosen to immerse herself to some meditation
And I am just like you my friend
Just that you find me wearing a coloured palate each day
As the say " grass looks greener on the other side"
It is only the clouds that you see that hover around me
I am one of your own
Says the rock from opposite mountains to me
