Gift of Words

I forgot to present to you
the gift of words
Time travelled so swiftly
That I left them astray
My mind did wobble and my tongue
did grieve
Losing those moments that could have been pleasing
I didn’t lose hope, I gifted you the same
But it turned to be worthless, it was too late
The new gifted cover couldn’t hide the old inside
It grappled the opportunity and fell down like rice

Tribute -Santosh Bakaya Ma’am OH HARK

In moments I was engrossed into it
Your words penned with amazing wit
My eyes read swiftly, so did my heart

I was bewildered to know the next part
The flow of your images flowed so smoothly
Like cream on the cake designed so beautifully.
A riot of events, description of every character to the core,
I couldn’t wait as to what lay in store
Your verses truly are mindblowing; creating a mark,
I loved the real life anecdotes you added, oh hark
Oh I am in awe of powerful writing and creativity
Here’s a small humble tribute, may you enthral us more with your commendable sightings.

P.S: Oh Hark is a long poem featured in the book” The Significant Anthology” is worth a mention with brilliant writing by respected Santosh Bakaya !!!
