Hymns of the Night

I sing to you a new melody dear
they are called Hymns of the Night
The arch of moon may not know them
The blinking stars around may not have heard them
But only you dear, only you.
I sing to you a new melody dear
they are called Hymns of the Night
The weak minds may not have noticed them
The bleak hearts may not understand them
But only you dear, only you.
I sing to you a new melody dear
they are called Hymns of the Night
The daily routines you have to follow may ignore them
The colours that paint your vision may fail to cover them
But only you dear, only you.
I sing to you a new melody dear
they are called Hymns of the Night
The words that suppress your growth may be busy to listen to them
The world that begets calling you names and keeps labels may turn deaf to them
But only you dear, only you.
On this glorious and nights ahead,
I will continue to sing to you
Hymns of the Night
But only you dear, only you
Will know that few of us love you the way you are
And that your happiness is the treasure we seek
But only you dear, only you
We live for each day trying to walk on mission
That thousands and more Hymns of the night
Will be written in your name
But only you dear, only you
Will be privileged to listen, to sing along
While we ink many hymns of the night until our ink or we fade away
Until then, smile dear in God’s blanket of love
are adorned with,
But only you dear, only you.
