As the scope for the online education has opened gateways for new opportunities, it has lead to education find its niche in providing custom designed courses for its audiences, will it be the Next Game- Changer in India?

As per the statistics of the latest market report, India is expected to grow by USD 14.33 billion by 2020- 2024 in the domain of Online Education which means more people will be enabled to get access to education even in rural places to different subjects as per their preferences.  Online education has been able to narrow the gap between “Desire to Educate” and “Be Educated” which was often restricted due to various personal and financial restraints in the past.

Today, post the Covid pandemic where students across the country are forced to stay at home, e- learning sites, courses and institutions have curated new benchmarks to continue imparting the service of education to groom and empower the future generations of the country.

Infact, the dominance of traditional educational trusts in schools and colleges today has been consciously influenced with the entry of VC fundings done by angel investors, corporates in the field of Online Education taking it to the next level. With digitized education, each child can be mentored to built his/her personality, learn new things and also challenge their reasoning abitities with Play and Learn courses.

Today, startups like Bjyus, Cuemath have pioneered a dominant presence in the digital  e-learning sphere where complex problems and theories are solved using reasoning and visualizing techniques. Even the domains of  gaming, robotics, coding have been perfectly tapped to provide specially designed courses by experts to kids at a young age. Eg WhiteHat Jr.

With the advent of e-learning, students can enhance their skills for entrance exams, learning new languages and also catch up on gap years without the hassle of travel and time. It is also a boon for people with special needs who can empower themselves to dream big.

As the current Indian market scenario, people are looking forward to reskill or upskill to enhance their chances of grabbing better job prospects, promotions and also build alternative careers Eg:Business Intelligence professional. E- learning has opened avenues for digital marketing, brand engagement to give clients a personalized experience. Today, a retired teacher or housewife can also educate students as an Online tutor who can be self- reliant life and earn within the comforts of a home.

The growing demand and popularity of online education at present has also led to Government taking keen interest to provide better connectivity and construct better infrastructure resourced by telecom providers. They have even introduced virtual labs and integrated the services of IITs, IIMs and NITs to design courses for science and engineering. Digital campaigns like the recent announcement made by the Finance minister to allow top 100 univerisities of the country to start online courses through radio and television to empower remote areas without internet connection is the progressive step to make India, an Inclusive nation of digital growth.
