Napowrimo 7- Murk

He felt her traces
The ones she had left for him
A memory stitched on a handkerchief
And one that had been transplanted inside his chest
Her murky face forced him to smile for a while,
Amid tears bubbles that bumped like they did the first time.
He felt her by his side,
Twitching to a scar on his arm that shrieked in pain
And another scar on his heart that fate had claimed.
He pulled open the curtains to let in some light,
This room needed a beam of hope to make things upright.
He gathered himself and smiled, laughed once again
Her felt her, a tickle that sprang from his heart veins.
