Napowrimo 3- Serendipity

She babbled, tapped her feet
At the bird sitting on the tree
She cooed at it from far
Calling him to be friends on this eve
But he flew away from her sight
To his dwelling that barely stayed alright
Sad, she turned inside to find her folk
No one was there, she shrieked out towards the door.
A tinkling voice she heard, her Mamma sang to her a note
All forgotten about the brown chirpy devote
Her joy knew no bounds as her Mamma held her close
