Pebble Tower

He walked on the shore
As the sun kissed the earth
And the sky filled with exuberant birds
As the whoosh of waters touched his feet
And his eyes reflected the sea’s gleam
He went ahead to hold the sand
Which shied away from his breezy hands
A pebble tower he sat to build
For a young lad like years ago he did
Small, big, coloured, shapeless ones
A miniature he created that fell many times, but later stood tall under the sun.
His heart couldn’t contain its joy to watch his son happily cling to his body
Life had taken its course
Once a kid, now a Daddy!
