Revelation

He stood at the porch waiting for her
Near the low brown bench near the gate.
He clasped his fingers tight inside his coat
warming his sentiments in his head,
With the breeze that ruffled his hair, walked in his friend and much more.
She greeted him as usual, talking enthusiastically about things that made her smile
He adored this self of her that he could almost kiss her tight
He composed himself as she sensed her friend acted different and questioned him
All things turned hazy now , his life would either begin or end.
He proposed to her sharing every feeling that bore her name
A love he cared
Watching her eyes gazing towards him and lips gone dry.
He cupped his hands into hers
This longing was hard to bear
But She said nothing, absolutely nothing
Which was really hard for him
So he picked his bag and cajoled his jacket close
He got up and bid her a farewell
Friends that would neva meet in yrs
His feet fell heavy under his shoes dragging them away from her
I never knew all this while you too harboured the same feelings as mine
Her voice trailed behind his ears.
